You can only join guilds or send friend requests to users that are in the same Server and World as you.
Thus, if the user you try to search for is in a different Server or World, they will not be displayed in your search results.

①If you are on the [Japan Server] in【World 1】, and your search query is also on the [Japan Server] in【World 1】, they will be displayed in search since you and your search query are both on the same Server and World.
②If you are on the [Japan Server] in【World 1】, and your search query is on the [Japan Server] in【World 2】, they will not be displayed in search, since they are in a different World.
③If you are on the [Japan Server] in【World 1】, and your search query is on the [US Server] in【World 1】, they will not be displayed in search, since they are on a different Server.
