When a character’s max HP increases, their current HP also increases by the same amount.
- Example: When a character’s current HP/max HP is 80/100, and their max HP increases by 20%, their current HP/max HP will become 100/120.
- *This same behavior also occurs with max HP-increasing effects that activate at “the start of the battle” in the Cave of Space-Time or Guild Battles, when a character’s HP has been depleted between the consecutive battles that take place in each content.
- If a character’s HP is restored and they are granted an [Increased Max HP] buff at the same time, it may appear that their HP has been restored more than the skill’s HP restoration effect.
- Example: Immediately after Amour’s skill, “My Fairy Tale,” revives her and restores her HP by 30% of her max HP, “Love’s Premonition” increases her max HP by 50%. Therefore, Amour’s current HP/max HP of 30/100 will become a current HP/max HP of 80/150, making it appear as if her HP was further restored by about 50% when she was revived.
- When [Increased Max HP] is dispelled, if a character’s current HP is less than the amount of HP that was increased, their current HP will only have 1 HP remaining.
- Example: Current HP/max HP: 10/100 (+20 via [Increased Max HP]) → [Increased Max HP] is dispelled → current HP/max HP: 1/100
