For skills that reference characters’ stats “at the start of the battle” or “at the start of the 1st turn” when activated, the pre-increased/decreased stats of characters will be referenced. For other skills, in-battle stats are referenced when selecting a target.
For that reason, characters’ stats may be changed during battle by activated skills, reversing which characters have the highest and lowest stats.
Based on the above, skills that affect “characters with the highest (stat type)” may be activated on characters other than those with the highest (stat type) shown on the Stats screen.
